Greater Bangalore. Is it really needed? In my view NO is the good answer. If you ask why I will give you the answer. But before you have to define the word DEVELOPMENT? I am exhausted by searching the correct meaning for this. Because you cant define development in a clear cut way.
In my view development is destroying everything to become modern. I will give you a example. The government is constructing a road. For that they have to vacate the villagers, cut down the trees. But what is compensation for that trees. Nothing only a big Zero. If it is going to be like this definitely the life style become worse than now. Modernisation is good, but it should be for the cause of people.
All projects of governments are like this only. They are interested only to develop the city areas. And villages remain the same. Thanks to the governments. Because of governments lack of interest towards villages we can see greenery around villages. Once the government concentrate on village, then the real Development starts. Is that development really needed. They only know. Its not a question of Karnataka, it happens everywhere in this country.
In Mangalore the conditions of roads are too bad. In city you cant find trees anywhere. You can see ony multi storeyed buildings. It will become another Bangalore in next few years. Is it development? Can you call it as development?
To what direction we are going? Is it good or Bad. Is it positive sign or negative sign of development. Who knows? Can you answer it?

its really important that there is developement.. true at what cost??..but people have a tendency to migrate to greener shores otherwise likes of you and me would not be here in karnataka and you wouldn be in Bangalore.. its to sustain this growin population infrastructure is required and some people have to suffer all the time as you have rightly pointed out..
